Toilet Choices

Based in Kyoto, Japan, TOTO is the largest bathroom brand. It was established in 1917 and is well known for producing the Washlet and related product brands. The company is located in Kitakyushu, Japan, and has production facilities in nine other countries worldwide. TOTO is a division of Wetsuits Limited, which is one of the largest public companies in Japan.

The toto toilet brand provides a wide variety of toilet and bathroom accessories. They are reasonably priced, with most models selling for less than five hundred dollars. All toilet models produced by TOTO meet Japanese regulatory specifications and are environmentally friendly. TOTO claims that their toilets to conserve water compared to conventional toilet systems, since they don’t use the traditional top-flow shower drain. In addition, they claim to have minimal impact on the environment due to the use of natural gas or electricity for heating and air-conditioning.

All toilet and accessories sold by TOTO have come with a limited lifetime warranty. That’s one of the reasons why they are a favorite brand among home and industrial owners alike. When deciding what toilet to buy, the first thing to consider is whether to get a conventional model or a self-contained toto toilet unit. Depending on what you plan to use your toilet for, there are differences between these two models.

If you need to wash larger items, such as a big tub or a washing machine, you will want a self-contained unit. Self-containment toto toilets come in different shapes and sizes, including some which have three seats. Some smart toilets, such as the Kohler Smart Divide, also have separate seats for wet and dry washing. If you use your toilet for a combination of wet/dry functions, such as doing the laundry at the same time, then you will probably be better off with a conventional model. These toilets boast self-cleaning capabilities, including built-in microfiber or electronic sensors that activate the toilet’s water system if it’s dirty. Other models, such as the Kohler Master Bidet, also have an integrated dryer.

If you’re going to be using your toilet for several different functions, such as washing, drying, hair styling, bathing and others, it may make more sense to go with a conventional model that comes with a built-in air dryer and heated seat. On the other hand, there are models available in both categories that only have a built-in air dryer and a heated seat. If you will be doing a lot of wetting and shampooing, these models may be a good choice, provided that you choose a brand name you can trust.

Another important factor to consider is the seat height. You shouldn’t have to reach all the way over the side of the toilet to reach your hand towel, for example. Many toto toilets have seats that are adjustable, allowing you to customize the distance from which you reach for your things. While most brands have seat heights of 32 inches, there are a few that can go up to 37 inches, providing users with more leg room.
